1. Introduction

Goldfinch Executives Ltd (hereafter referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a chauffeur company based in London, offering premium chauffeur services. These Terms and Conditions govern the use of our services and website (goldfinchexecutive.co.uk). By using our services and website, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our services or website.

3.1. Goldfinch Executives Ltd reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time for quality testing and development purposes. Any changes will be posted on our website’s homepage, and users will be notified within 14 days of the updated Terms & Conditions. Continued use of our services or website implies your acceptance of the revised Terms and Conditions.

3.2. We strictly prohibit loud music inside our vehicles for safety reasons and to ensure the chauffeur’s focus on driving.

3.3. Alcohol consumption is not allowed in our vehicles without prior permission. Customers are responsible for any damages caused by spilling on seats or other vehicle surfaces.

3.4. Under no circumstances are drugs permitted in our vehicles. Chauffeurs have the right to remove any passenger under the influence of drugs. No refunds will be provided, and the customer will bear full responsibility for the entire trip.

3.5. All chauffeur services are pre-booked. The vehicle may have additional bookings scheduled after your trip. Extra time is at the chauffeur’s discretion, so please schedule additional hours in advance to prevent inconvenience.

4. Contract of Service and Changes to Offers

4.1. All conditions of the contract apply to services arranged by Goldfinch Executives Ltd.

4.2. Additional fees may apply after booking and the start of the service, such as extra hours, additional stops, extra mileage, waiting time, car parking, and address changes according to the latest price structure.

4.3. Hourly bookings must conclude in the same city as the start of the service. An additional charge may apply if it ends in a different city.

4.4. Users can select from various vehicle classes, such as Executive Car, People Carrier, and Luxury Class, as shown on our Vehicles page. Users may choose to upgrade to a higher-class vehicle based on availability, with payment adjusted accordingly.

4.5. Bookings must be made with a minimum notice period:

  • London: At least 4 hours
  • Outside London (within the UK): At least 6 hours
  • Worldwide: At least 48 hours

4.6. Child seats must be requested in advance, specifying the child’s age and seat type needed.

4.7. Prior permission is required for passengers traveling with animals. Guide dogs will not be refused. Other animals will be accepted based on prior agreement.

4.8. Luggage and seating capacity are shown on our Vehicle illustrations. Additional luggage may incur extra charges if space is available. Similarly, additional passengers may be refused if it compromises safety.

5. Delays

In cases of extreme weather conditions, unavoidable traffic delays, GPS navigation errors, or other unforeseen circumstances, Goldfinch Executives Ltd and chauffeurs are not responsible for any financial losses incurred by customers, including missed meetings, hotel bookings, flight delays, or connecting flights.

6. Penalties and No-Show Policy

6.1. Any penalties, such as parking tickets resulting from customer actions without prior approval, will be charged to customers.

6.2. We do not accept bookings made through third-party ground transportation service provider websites.

6.3. In case a reserved vehicle becomes unavailable due to mechanical failure or other reasons, a substitute vehicle of a similar class will be provided.

6.4. No-show policy:

  • Airport pickups: A passenger is considered a no-show if not contacted within 90 minutes.
  • Non-airport pickups: A passenger is considered a no-show if not contacted within 30 minutes.

6.5. Cancellation:

  • Cancellations for Executive Car, People Carrier (MPV), and First Class must be made at least 24 hours prior to the pickup time.
  • Cancellations can be made via phone, email, or the Goldfinch Executives website.

7. Changes to Booking

Changes to the destination can be made during the ride, and extra mileage costs will apply accordingly.

8. Behaviour in the Vehicle

8.1. Passengers must adhere to safety rules and laws:

  • Keep doors closed while the vehicle is moving.
  • Do not throw objects from the vehicle.
  • Do not stick body parts out of the vehicle.
  • Do not shout from the vehicle.
  • Smoking is prohibited within the vehicle.
  • Devices provided by Goldfinch Executives Ltd may be used after brief instructions from the chauffeur.

8.2. Any physical or verbal abuse, threats, harassment, or behavior that endangers the driver, vehicle, or other passengers will not be tolerated.

8.3. Passengers under the influence of alcohol or drugs may be refused travel.

9. Lost Property

Lost items will be returned to the Lost and Found department and can be retrieved by contacting your driver or the office. Delivery costs for lost items will be paid by the customer. Please click here for more details about our lost property. 

10. Complaints

In case of a complaint about our services, please seek a solution with the driver or contact our company. Complaints should be submitted in writing within 12 days of the hire termination date. We will acknowledge complaints within 12 days and typically respond within 28 days.

11. Payments and Premiums

11.1. Waiting times for Transfer Services:

  • The first 60 minutes of waiting time are free for airport pickups after the agreed pickup time.
  • Non-airport pickups receive 15 minutes of free waiting time.
  • Extra waiting time incurs additional charges.

11.2. Additional Distance for Hourly Booking:

  • Extra mileage outside the hourly rate incurs additional charges.

11.3. Terms of Payment and Transaction Fees:

  • Payments are made via major credit cards.
  • Payment for extras added during the journey will be debited 24-48 hours after the trip.

11.4. Invoice:

  • Invoices are sent after journey completion, including a review form.
  • Invoices for journeys with added extras are sent within 24-48 hours after completion.

11.5. Payments by Credit Card:

  • Charges incurred due to different currencies or local accounts are borne by the user.
  • Customers may be required to show credit cards with ID if deemed necessary.

11.6. Extra Charges:

  • Extra charges apply for deviations from the original route or additional stops.
  • Extending hourly bookings is subject to the driver’s decision.

12. Damages to Vehicles by Customers

Customers are responsible for valeting or repair charges for any soiling or damage to the vehicle’s interior or exterior caused by them. Failure to pay for damages may result in legal action.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
